Mark and Stacey Conard
Since becoming Christians in college we have sensed God's call to mission. After marrying, Mark completed four years in the Marines, and we headed to seminary. In 2000, with Mark's degree in hand and two little girls in tow (Grace and Katies), we were on our way to Zambia. God shaped and molded us as we experienced life in a new culture and shared the Gospel through chronological Bible storying. Our family grew (Benjamin and Isaac), as did our faith.
God called us back to the U.S. for Mark to serve as a chaplain with the Navy and Marines. This provided much opportunity for couseling - coming alongside others in their time of need, even as others had done for us in our years in Zambia. During this time we adopted our son, Josiah, from China.
Fast forward six years and once again we sense God calling us to Africa, this time to do a job He has been equiping us for-pastoral and member care for the Sudan team. For missionaries in South Sudan, spiritual struggles only intensify with the daily hardships of life in a harsh enviroment. We have the priviledge of ministering on and to this unique team both in South Sudan and also in Nairobi, Kenya, where they come to decompress, resupply, and rest. Our ministry will also extend to the refugee population and Sudanese Christians.

Cooperative Program
Centerview Baptist Church contributes to this Southern Baptist Convention program which supports international missionaries. Visit their website to see all of the different missionaries and missions we support through our giving. Each Sunday morning, we pray for a different missionary during the service, whose name is published in the bulletin; the names of these missionaries are taken from a booklet put out by the Cooperative Program.

Independent Baptist Mission for Asians
Many of the international missionaries we support work through this organization. Their mission is “reaching the Asians through the nationals with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” Centerview Baptist Church has 8 “Sister Churches” in the Philippines, and we are the “Mother Church” (main sponsor) of Centerview Baptist Church, pastored by Jun Robles in Pampanga, Philippines.
